About The Position

At Nym, we’re passionate about simplifying healthcare by automating the accurate interpretation of clinical language. 

Our interdisciplinary team has developed innovative technology that can understand clinical language and provides an entirely new way of analyzing and decoding medical records into clear, concise, and actionable information. This ultimately ensures clinical and administrative teams can spend more time focused on patient care.

Nym is looking for a Director of Product to join our growing team, reporting to the Vice President of Product. As a key member of the team, you will drive Nym’s product roadmap and scope and deliver Nym’s core autonomous coding solutions and adjacent products across Nym’s customer base. Come change the future of medical coding with us!

As the Director of Product, you will: 

  • Define and shape Nym’s near- and mid-term autonomous coding roadmap across outpatient and inpatient settings.
  • Identify, prioritize, and scope adjacent RCM opportunities with our core health system customers.
  • Become a revenue cycle expert and represent the customer internally – translate customer pain points and workflows into high value product opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Sales Enablement to forward sell and scope new specialties and offerings.
  • Support Nym’s growth strategy by building and refining the business case (including market sizing, customer segmentation, and GTM) for Nym’s short and long-term growth plans.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Nym’s offerings and applications to the revenue cycle community; represent Nym externally with customers and the market.
  • Directly contribute to Nym’s revenue by defining and scoping Nym’s coding and revenue cycle roadmap
  • Support product enabling partnerships, including business case development, stakeholder/partnership management, and pilot scoping and execution.


  • You have 5+ years experience in Product Management, in a healthcare technology environment, highly preferred in RCM.
  • You have excellent storytelling skills, both externally and internally.
  • You are obsessed with your customer – you are able to articulate the “why” behind your product decisions and frame impact from the perspective of your customer.
  • You are highly detail oriented, with strong prioritization and execution skills.
  • You have a passion for working for an early stage healthcare company and you are comfortable with navigating ambiguity.
  • You have a sense of ownership and accountability.
  • You are an independent thinker and able to operate autonomously.
  • You’re always curious to learn more, with an analytical approach to problem solving and an aptitude for seeking and giving candid feedback.
  • You thrive in a collaborative, diverse, cross-functional environment.
  • You have experience in working with health systems as customers or working in revenue cycle management.
  • Located in Eastern Time (preferred) or Central Time Zone.
  • You are willing to travel to clients for key meetings and occasionally to Nym HQ in New York City.
