Nym Appoints Or Peles as Next Chief Executive Officer

May 1, 2023

NEW YORK, May 1, 2023 Nym, the leader in autonomous medical coding, today announced that Nym’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Or Peles will become the Company’s next CEO and a member of the Nym Board of Directors. Amihai Neiderman, who co-founded Nym and has held the role of CEO since the Company’s inception in 2018, will continue to serve as a member of Nym’s Board of Directors.

This leadership transition is the successful culmination of a succession planning process to support Nym’s next stage of growth,” said Neiderman. “I’ve worked closely with Or for the last year, and it’s clear that he possesses the strategic vision and strong track record of execution to successfully scale Nym and lead the expansion of our breakthrough autonomous medical coding technology and its delivery to more providers across the US. Or’s extensive experience building and running high-performing organizations, as well as his deep understanding of Nym’s technology, make him the ideal fit for this role.”

In addition to his new appointment as CEO, Peles will continue to serve as Nym’s CTO. Since joining the Company in January 2022 as Senior Vice President of Research and Development, Peles has been an integral part of Nym’s executive leadership team. During his tenure, Nym broadened the reach of its revenue cycle management solution beyond emergency medicine to additional specialty areas such as urgent care and radiology, tripling the Company’s customer base.

“It’s an honor to lead a company with such a strong mission at this pivotal stage in its journey,” said Peles. “I look forward to working with the talented team at Nym to build on the Company’s strong foundation as a purpose-driven technology leader and to deliver value to our customers, helping them create efficiencies that reduce the costly administrative burden in healthcare so that more time and resources can be allocated to patient care.”

Peles has more than 20 years of software industry experience, leading technology and product development organizations. Prior to Nym, he was COO of Tasq.ai, a provider of next-generation data solutions for AI at ultra scale, and CTO of NICE Actimize, the largest and broadest provider of financial security and compliance solutions for regional and global institutions. Over his 18-year career with NICE Actimize, Peles helped the company grow from a six-person team to an organization of more than 1,000 employees worldwide with annual revenues exceeding $300 million.
