About The Position

Nym is an exciting, fast-growing startup in the AI for Healthcare space and we are looking for an Office and Operations Manager for our office operations in New York.

As an Office & Operations Manager, you will play a critical operational and cultural role at Nym, during a time of exciting growth. We are looking for an operational wizard, to be responsible for all office operations and administration as well as for general operations and logistics to support the US team objectives. The Office & Operations Manager should be able to ensure the smooth running of the office and to help build and implement company procedures and day-to-day operations. If you're passionate about creating an amazing employee experience & operational environment, love building things from scratch and are a creative problem solver, this is the role for you.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Office management: food, office supplies, vendors, service providers, and ongoing tasks.
  • Work closely with HR to support: 
  • Interviews coordination & candidate experience -schedule and monitor phone, onsite, and video interviews for candidates with speed and efficiency.
  • Operational onboarding to new employees - documentation, swags, technical needs, and a warm welcome!
  • US wellbeing plan and ongoing events such as birthdays, work anniversaries, holidays, company events etc..
  • Marketing support:
  • Coordinate and manage logistics for marketing conferences and additional future needs (For ex: coordination, swags, travel)
  • General support to the US site:
  • Coordinate and assist with employees’ work travel - flights, hotels, team events
  • Plan and execute global executive visits
  • Calendar coordination and scheduling support for the US team

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an office admin, operations manager, or administrative assistant in a startup environment
  • Well organized, flexible, and enjoy administrative and logistic challenges 
  • Service-oriented, assertive, problem solver, and a great team player
  • Able to work independently, think creatively and be proactive
  • Strong organizational and planning capabilities
  • Experienced in working and coordinating with different vendors
  • Upbeat, positive attitude, patience, and a love of collaboration
  • Loves getting things done!
