Role and Responsibilities:

Nym is looking for a Director/Sr Director/VP of Account Strategy to join our growing Customer Operations team, reporting to the SVP of Customer Operations. In this role, you’ll own and manage an account portfolio consisting of some of the largest and most reputable health systems in the US, acting as a Revenue Cycle expert and strategist in support of RCM executives. Additionally, as the first person in this role at Nym, you’ll be responsible for defining processes and accountabilities for maintaining healthy account relationships and building a strong foundation for account growth.


In this role, you will:

  • Own and manage a portfolio of health system customers, building and maintaining strong relationships with key customer stakeholders (e.g., revenue cycle leaders), continuously understanding their business needs and goals, and assessing opportunities for Nym to fill those needs
  • Act as a revenue cycle expert, strategist, and consultant to customers; and collaborate internally with Product, Sales, and Customer Operations to identify opportunities to drive value and customer satisfaction, and support revenue growth
  • Develop and execute account plans, aligning with Nym company objectives and client needs; foster a collaborative and supportive team environment to support seamless delivery of value
  • Define processes, tools, success metrics, and accountabilities for Account Management at Nym 
  • Understand our Product Roadmap and consistently pressure test it with customers to validate needs and opportunities
  • Partner with Sales & Customer Operations to assess pipeline customer risk & proactively identify risk mitigation strategies 
  • Be a part of the Customer Operations leadership team, working collaboratively to drive success in achieving team and company goals
  • Be an expert in the needs of our customers, and represent the voice of our most senior stakeholders internally
  • Travel frequently to customer sites and conferences

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a client facing consultative role, ideally with large health systems and/or large physician groups as your primary customers, ideally focusing on revenue cycle management
  • Ability to build strong relationships with senior executives at large and complex organizations
  • Able to read between the lines, understand the nuances, and identify solutions that balance the needs of customers with internal competing priorities
  • Passion for working in a complex high-tech environment; bonus if you’ve worked with global teams
  • Process-oriented, strong attention to detail, and super self-motivated
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills with the ability to persuade, lead, and confidently handle strategic discussions

Approximate base compensation: $150,000-$200,000. The final package may vary and will be determined by various factors, including the location where the role is expected to be performed, candidate experience, education, and ideal qualifications.
